November's Rose

Pretty good for November 12 in Zone 4. I wish I'd taken the picture yesterday as it just started to brown over night.

I don't believe that last bud will get a chance to open though, there is lots of cold weather in the forecast. This climber is now huge—well over ten feet and this rose is about seven feet off the ground—so one of my winter projects will be thinking of a better support for it.
