Yes, I have let this slide. The house is being renovated. We have had a cabinet maker, a tiler, a painter and three carpenters running around what is really just a cottage.
Anyway, here (courtesy of Ukulele Hunt) is a tune. It's not anything I can imagine singing and playing myself, not least because it is sung in Portuguese. I like it. It's a happy uplifting tune.
Watch it once just to enjoy it and then watch it again looking for changes in the music itself. You'll notice that all the variation in arrangement and all the clever camera work is there to distract you from how little variation there is in this song. It's the same very simple patterns replayed over and over again. This is true of most pop songs. Take the icing off and they don't really have much to them. Mind you, if the icing is good enough maybe it doesn't matter.
