Earlier, someone dropped by and posted a comment that was pure hate. I have no idea why they did it and don't care.
However, some of the content was vile enough that I wouldn't want to be associated with it even at one remove. As a consequence, I've turned off anonymous commenting for a while. I'll allow it again some time in the future but for now I'm going to play it safe.
