Follow up to last Friday's Womanly virtues post

I wrote about Louis CK describing sex as a "pressure release" and then being angry that his [now ex] wife was less than enthusiastic about sex with him last Friday. It's another instance of how the supposedly sex-positive crowd are really rather down on sex and how they actually line up with the worst of the prudes.

Here is another example. This is from the iTunes write-up about a movie called Whore:



I doubt you'll see a more dishonest bit of writing anywhere but what I want to call attention to is the last lines
... this film, based on the best-selling novel, will impact your view of the people who serve society's most basic urges.
If one of your opening moves is to classify sex as one of our "most basic" urges, then you've closed the door to any possible redemptive story line right from the get-go.
