"Charles II, himself a crypto-Catholic libertine, was reputedly appalled by James's folly in matters of religion and sex: 'My brother will lose his kingdom by his bigotry, and his soul for a lot of ugly trollops.'" John Mullan
Just so you know, even though I'm still a little angry with you, I've been thinking about your post, and thinking alot about the Lord Marchmain example, and I freely decided, from the heart to be Roman Catholic again. I've made my confession, and gone back, etc. I don't know why I felt the need to tell you, but I did, so that's all.
Thanks for letting me know. I check your blog every once in a while so I'd figured most of this out.
You know, God assures us he loves us. Whatever Christian church we choose to join, we aren't really a member if we can't see love and forgiveness in that church's teachings.
That's absolutely true Jules. Why is something so simple so hard for so many Christians to grasp? I often hear some Christians say "well he'll get his in the next life" looking forward to God punishing someone.
