Tax night dinner

I finally got our dinner on the table at ten PM last night. I thought I'd be eating alone but a taxi pulled up in front bringing the Serpentine One home from work just as I finished cooking.

Here it is (with less than ideal contrast on account of the white plate against everything else dark).

That's pork tenderloin fried in olive oil and then cut into medallions and served with black cherry, peppercorn sauce accompanied by steamed new potatoes and asparagus with lemon mayonnaise. The wine was a Rosé selected because of its name alone—"Beach House". It went very well with the pork.
